Bird Tjaldur by Íslandsfuglar

kr. 4.990

Tjaldur, Eurasian oystercatcher (Haematopus ostralegus), is one of the largest wading birds in Iceland. It is a migratory bird and arrives here in early spring, around mid-March, and then heads south in early August, staying mainly in the British Isles and northern Europe. Although the oystercatcher is considered a migratory bird, several thousand birds stay here all year round and mainly stay in the western part of the country.

The Tjaldur bird comes in a paper giftbox with Icelandic and English information. Each bird is unique.
