Bird Hrafn by Íslandsfuglar

kr. 4.990

Hrafn, common raven or northern raven (Corvus corax), is considered a passerine bird and is the largest of them in Iceland. It is a resident bird and is common throughout the country. It nests in May and June and its nest is called a laupur, in which it collects all kinds of things and then often lines it with wool and feathers. The raven is almost omnivorous and eats, for example, berries, carrion and catches other birds for food. Much has been written and rewritten about the raven. In Norse mythology, Odin’s ravens are called Huginn and Muninn, during the day they flew around the world and then returned in the evening and told Odin about what they had seen.

The Hrafn bird comes in a paper giftbox with Icelandic and English information. Each bird is unique.
