This website is operated by Gullfosskaffi ehf. (kt. 660994-2039) – when the terms “we”, “us” and “our” are used they refer to Gullfosskaffi ehf.
We reserve the right to cancel orders, for multiple reasons – i.e. if the prices for our products are wrong for some reason, if we stop offering certain products or product categories, or other unforseeable reasons. We reserve the right to confirm orders via phonecalls.
Delivery of products
All orders are processed the next weekday after the order is placed. If the product is not available in stock, a service representative or ours will contact the customer to inform the customer of the new estimated delivery time. All orders are shipped by DHL express. DHL Express´ delivery-, warranty- and shipping terms apply on all orders shipped by DHL, therefore, Gullfosskaffi ehf. holds no responsibility for lost orders or if any damage to products occurs during transit from Gullfoss to the shipping address. Order confirmation include a tracking number which allows the customer to track the order.
Prices of products and shipping cost
All products in our online shop include a 24% tax, which will be subtracted if the shipping address is outside of Iceland. The shipping cost varies between orders, based on size and weight of the products. The shipping cost will be added during checkout. All orders will be delivered to the customers shipping address. The shipping is free if (and only if) the price of the order exceeds 30.000 ISK.
Returning and/or exchanging product
If you receive your product and are not satisfied with your purchase, you are welcome to return the product(s) at your own cost. The product(s) must be returned in the same condition as you received them, i.e. with hang-tags, un-worn, clean, un-washed and if the product delivered had
a seal, the seal must be in it’s original condition. We accept returns that are shipped within 14 days of receiving them.
If you intend on returning your product, the price of the product when bought stands, except if said product is on discount or on a special offer when returned. Then the price of the product the day it is returned applies.
Faulty or damaged goods
If the received product is faulty or damaged, we offer the customer a new product in exchange for the faulty or damaged product and we will pay all shipping cost. We also offer a refund if that is desired. Otherwise Icelandic law, no: 46/2000 as well as Icelandic Consumer laws.
