Mittens, half – Grifflur M

Warm, comfortable and unique looking half-mittens, handmade of pure wool in Iceland. We use a blend of Scottish lambswool and merino wool for the knitted base for its wonderful softness and the coarser Icelandic wool for the hand felted pattern.

The Icelandic sheep came and settled in Iceland with the vikings and ever since they have kept us warm with their  wonderful wool. They can be seen all over the country during summer as they roam free and due to their tendency to keep close to the roads they have been given the nickname of Icelandic killer sheep.

Available in various colours and three sizes.
