Comfort with a low-key, masculine styling, and substantial protection in extreme conditions. The Polar Action wool-softshell is 3 layered, with a knitted exterior made of a blend of acrylic and wool. A water-resistant and breathable film in the middle, and on the inside layer is the Poly Fleece lining. As a group, these make the apparel warm and waterproof. Simultaneous, the jacket lets out moisture through the breathable fabric. Sleeves are articulated for easy movement, and the cuffs are adjustable with snaps. Elastic cords are in the hem and hood, to keep the warmth in when the wind strikes. Two fairly large pockets in the lower front with sturdy zippers, and a third diagonal zipped pocket, provide very good storage space.
