Icelandic nature contains many such contrasting features – lush valleys and expansive deserts, narrow fjords and vast plains, high waterfalls and big lakes.
Arctic thyme tea – naturally sweet and perfumed
Arctic thyme is believed to strengthen the heart, the head and the sinews, stimulate urine production and regulate menstruation, as well as being blood-cleansing. Arctic thyme is chiefly used for colds, coughs and bronchitis. The tea is also effective against insomnia and is thus a popular night-time tea. It has a reputation as an effective remedy for hangovers and constipation.
