Iceland Moss Salt
Big flakes of Icelandic Norðursalt Seasalt marinated in decoction of Iceland Moss, a lichen that grows in some of the most extreme environments on Earth like arctic tundra or rocky coasts. Has a bitter, tonic, earthly taste and aromatic odor. Use on fish and meat dishes, egg, bread and especially in creamy soups.
Good flavor enhancer in all vegetable and meat soups, as well as in vegetable, bean and fish casseroles.
The Black Salt has a barbecue and smoky taste. Well suited for seasoning and enhancing the flavor of casseroles, soups, fish, meat and bread. This salt is made similar to ancient viking methods.
Used as a famine food and a bread additive. When boiled it forms a substance tht soothes irritated mucous membranes of the respiratory tract. Also helpful in the treatment of gastritis, vomiting and dyspepsia, respiratory catarrh and bronchitis.
Organic Brown Kelp (Laminara digitata) from Reykholar in Westfjords of Iceland and unrefined seasalt. Rich in minerals and vitamins. Use instead of tablesalt for health concern. Very good on fish and vegeterian dishes.
Ingredients: Icelandic Norðursalt Flaky Seasalt marinated in Organic Rhubarb and grounded Angelica seed. The tart taste of rhubarb and the sweet bitter taste of Angelica goes well on various dishes, though especially good on fish dishes.
