Golden Circle and Lava Caving:
We start with a visit to the world under the great lava field in the Blue Mountains where you get the chance to witness how the volcanoes created Iceland. This is an amazing hike through an ancient underground lava tube. After the hike we drive onwards to Gullfoss, the undisputed queen of Icelandic waterfalls. Gullfoss is truly a great sight with water rushing down three steps of lava layers exhibiting breathtaking power and grandeur. After a short lunch stop we head to the geothermal area of Geysir, home of the erupting hot spring. Here, you will get the chance to watch the heated water gurgle, bubble, and escape the ground with enormous force up to 25 meters high. Our last stop will be the famous Þingvellir National Park (en. Parliament Fields). Þingvellir is a UNESCO world heritage site and the original birthplace of the oldest existing parliament in the world. It is a beautiful park that is also the place where the tectonic plates of America and Europe meet with a clearly visible rift valley.
This day tour has it all; stunning natural beauty, interesting history, amazing geological wonders and a great caving adventure!

Blue Ice:
Here is your chance to hike an immeasurably magnificent Glacier. This trip will take you to the frozen glacial tongue called Sólheimajökull. It is a rugged, raw and ever changing hub of ancient frozen water- truly a phenomenon. On this tour we will explore the crevasse riddled outlet glacier. With its amazing ice formations, sinkholes and jagged ridges, it is truly an unforgettable experience. We will walk along the beautiful glacier and also test our ice climbing skills. We will provide you with all the tools you need: ice axes, crampons and safety lines. On our return journey to Reykjavik, we will stop at the beautiful waterfall, Skógafoss.
